A tropical rainforest is located between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. It has a very high level of precipitation which goes up to 660mm annually, thus, a high level of humidity. Tropical rainforests hold most of the world's biodiversity and is also know as the Earth's lungs. Sadly, rainforests are in danger of being extinct due to the destructive actions of humankind. Let us all do our part in preserving the remaining rainforests in our planet.
